Application deadline:  December 31, 2025. (Space is limited)

Classes begin:  Saturday, January 24, 2026 (9:00am – 12:00pm)

1).  Review the Job Description above. 

2).  Complete the Application Form and return by mail or Email. The form must be received by the specified deadline. NOTE:  You may use either the paper (PDF) version or the Digital form.

3).  A teacher or counselor recommendation is a required part of your application. Please be certain to include your name and the teacher’s name on the form, and give it to a teacher or counselor to complete. Ask the teacher or counselor to return the completed form to you so that you can bring it with you to the interview.

4). Interview.  After submitting your application, you will be contacted by a Junior Docent Committee member who will set up an interview with you and a parent at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center.  Bring the completed Teacher Recommendation Form with you to the interview. Please let us know if you have a problem obtaining the completed Teacher/Counselor Form before your interview
